Extended licenses are available for each image in the Shutterstock library, and you can purchase them on demand in enhanced license packs starting at $99.50 per image. And improved? Since it gives you wider rights to use, it makes sense that images under this agreement would be at a higher price than those under standard license. You agree that you are legally able to enter into this Agreement and that any content you submit does not violate any law or violate the rights of any third party. Shutterstock has no obligation to refund any fees you have paid in the event of termination of your account due to a breach. In the event that you breach any of the terms of this Agreement or any other agreement with Shutterstock, Shutterstock has the right to terminate your account without notice, in addition to Shutterstock`s other statutory and/or equitable rights. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York.
If you become aware of any unauthorized reproduction of the content, please notify us by e-mail at If these Terms change, we will notify you. You agree to take all commercially reasonable steps to prevent third parties from duplicating the Content. If you determine that a social media site is using the content in a manner that exceeds your license under this Agreement, you agree to remove any derivative works containing content from that social media site and promptly notify Shutterstock of the use of each such social media site. However, you may make a one-time transfer of Content to third parties to induce such third parties to print and/or manufacture your Goods containing Content in accordance with the terms contained herein. “Non-Transferable” as used herein means that, except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use, you may sell, rent, load, give, sublicense or otherwise transfer content or the right to use any Content to any third party. Today, we`re digging deeper into Shutterstock`s licensing agreement. Neither Shutterstock nor its officers, employees, managers, members, shareholders, directors or suppliers shall be liable to you or any other person or entity for any general, punitive, special, indirect, consequential or incidental damages or for lost profits or other damages, costs or losses arising out of your use of the Content, Shutterstock`s breach of this Agreement or otherwise, except as expressly provided herein even if Shutterstock has been advised of the possibility of such damages, costs or losses. By entering these Terms of Use, you verify that your country of residence matches your billing address. The following Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) constitute a legal agreement between you or the employer or other legal entity on whose behalf you enter into this Agreement (“you” or “Customer”) and Shutterstock (as defined in Section 25 below) and set forth the rights and obligations with respect to the Licensed Material you have granted. Shutterstock`s extended license substantially enhances all standard contract usage rights by adding additional opportunities that remove the above restrictions for additional flexibility and revenue opportunities.
Neither party may assign this Agreement without the prior written consent of the other party, except that Shutterstock may assign this Agreement to any subsidiary, affiliate within the Shutterstock group, to the entity resulting from a merger or other corporate reorganization involving Shutterstock, or to any company holding all or substantially all of the assets or share capital of Shutterstock acquires, may yield. By submitting Content to Shutterstock, you agree to all of the terms of this Agreement.
